"Christy Hamilton's presence transcends typical beauty... Something deeper is going on."
Born on a southern spring evening with the Magnolias in bloom, Christy spent her childhood in Athens, Louisiana on a dairy farm... That explains the peaches and cream complexion. She was raised by her Grandpa… That explains her wonderful and caring nature. Her talent, though... That part's all Christy and completely unique!
From her earliest memories Christy's dreams have been of acting. "I remember playing a news anchor in front of my aunt and uncle's 8mm movie camera", she recalls, "I couldn't have been more than 4 or 5. From when I could first walk and talk I was always filming something, or somebody was filming me."
Christy felt the bright lights of Memphis calling her at the tender age of nineteen and has been living, modeling and acting in the region ever since. "I truly adore Memphis" Christy explains, "it was love at first sight." And with Memphis, the feeling was mutual!
Christy loves helping people and expresses it in many ways … She has been a frequent spokesperson and representative for the Multiple Sclerosis and Polio foundations, in addition to many other worthy causes she has supported through the years.
Christy started her career in modeling doing print jobs and fashion shows. Her Bluff City homebase has lead her to prominent parts in independent regional films including "Street Life", "Somerville", "Dog Me Potluck", "Esther", "Take Me Back To Beale" in addition to union movies such as"Forty Shades of Blue", "21 Grams", and "Big Bad Love".
The characters she plays cover a wide range and scope... Classic Americana farm girl, seasoned undercover police officer, stripper with a heart of gold, and much more. When the cameras stop rolling, her real personality is exuberant and very fun-loving and outgoing.
"From dairy farm to cattle calls, this is one southern belle that is living her dream... And that dream is HUGE!"
